The charter fishing boat Miss Mary’s home port is Mexico Beach, Florida.  Mexico Beach is one of several small coastal communities located in the beautiful “panhandle” area of the state.  Brilliant white sand beaches and no traffic lights make this fishing village and vacation hideaway a favorite family destination.  These small Florida communities are proud of their small town atmosphere and “reel” friendly citizens.

Due to the proximity of Mexico Beach to Cape San Blas we are fortunate to have one of the safest beaches for swimming anywhere on the Gulf Coast.  The lack of undertow makes it quite enjoyable for families vacationing on our beach.  Mexico Beach has fine accomodations for the visiting angler from hotels to rental properties and campgrounds.

The lack of big city problems allow many of the locals to forget sometimes how fortunate they indeed are.  We are indeed lucky to not have to live among the “kitsch” of fluorescent Styrofoam dinosaurs and squealing go carts.  People in our small communities can still walk the streets or ride their bicycles without having to dodge the traffic headed for the “Giant Discount Beachware and Tattoo Mall”. 

We really do know how lucky we are and hope you will tell only the best of your friends about the Mexico Beach, St. Joe Beach, Beacon Hill, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, St. George Island, and Appalachicola Florida area.  It is still a great vacation destination.
